About You

We’re seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our ETQ Quality Engineer. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our Quality Management System (QMS) by configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the ETQ software platform, promoting the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. Also, utilization of ETQ software platform for training and qualification, specification and change management, complaint resolution, document control, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

In addition, you will:

  • Optimize the Excellence through Quality (ETQ) system to meet industry best practices by configuring modules and providing expertise to cross-functional teams, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders

  • Design and validate quality management systems and processes in ETQ by utilizing skills-sets to include ETQ Designer, Python, ETQ Script, SQL, JSP, HTML scripting, and Computer System Validation (CSV) principles

  • Identify quality trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for process optimization by analyzing data, developing KPI dashboards, and regular ETQ-generated automated reports to the organization.

  • Ensure efficient and effective use of the ETQ system by undertaking ETQ ambassador responsibilities, including the provision of training and support to users and stakeholders, and troubleshooting and resolving issues.

  • To lead ETQ projects for the development of core organizational workflows by collaborating with the Quality team and key stakeholders to ensure that the ETQ software platform development aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements

  • Implement the ETQ software platform across the organization by developing training materials, and providing group training and individual coaching sessions to employees that support end-user best working practices

Requirements

You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalency

  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (such as ISO 9001, FDA)

  • Working knowledge of 1 or more programming languages

  • Experience with ETQ Designer, Python, ETQ Script, SQL, JSP, HTML scripting, and Computer System Validation (CSV) principles

  • 5+ years as a Quality Engineer or Specialist, with proven expertise in configuring and customizing Quality software and tools -- particularly ETQ software platforms

  • Ability to manage priorities and multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Must have demonstrated capacity to influence and persuade across all levels of an organization

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Salary Range: $89,122 - $109,722

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
