As the Leader of Mars Corporate & MGS Technology Organization, this role is crucial in guiding Mars Inc. through its ambitious digital and technological transformation. Central to this position is the establishment and management of a Conversational and Generative AI Center of Excellence (COE), positioning Mars at the forefront of advanced AI technology utilization. This initiative is aimed at enhancing workflow experiences across the organization through the strategic deployment of AI solutions.

In addition to spearheading the AI COE, the role involves orchestrating a range of pioneering projects like Project Unify and advancing Mars' sustainability systems. The leader is responsible for ensuring these initiatives are seamlessly integrated with Mars' overarching digital strategies, while also catering to specific organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Transformation Leadership: Act as the principal driver for Mars Corporate and MGS Technology's diverse initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and strategic integration of advanced technologies like AI, analytics, and sustainable systems across the organization. Lead the deployment of key projects such as Project Unify, aligning them with Mars' overarching digital objectives and operational standards.
Strategic Project Management: Develop and implement robust management frameworks for overseeing Mars' technology projects. Ensure a harmonious balance between innovation and operational efficiency, while maintaining comprehensive visibility into project progression, challenges, and successes
Cross-Functional Team Coordination:
Assemble and lead multidisciplinary teams across Mars Inc. to advance digital transformation goals, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to establish technology standards, design playbooks, and implementation roadmaps tailored to Mars' unique operational needs.
Strategically plan and sequence project rollouts, emphasizing risk management, optimizing shared services, and aiming for timely and effective implementation.
Organizational Change Management: Spearhead change and communication strategies that resonate at all levels within Mars Inc. Drive the mobilization of teams across different regions and markets for efficient technology deployment. Serve as the primary escalation point for global deployments, addressing challenges to ensure adherence to planned schedules and goals.
Intersegment Collaboration: While focusing on Mars Corporate and MGS Technology, this role requires extensive collaboration across various segments and the broader Mars Inc. landscape. It's essential to integrate insights from different areas, share best practices, and leverage synergies to enhance overall technological efficacy.
External Partnership Oversight: Engage with and guide external partners, aligning their contributions with the specific technological needs of Mars Inc. This involves ensuring that external collaborations are in sync with Mars' enterprise architecture and strategic goals.
Enterprise Technology Delivery: Provide oversight to the Enterprise Technology Delivery Team and SXB Site Lead. This organization is focused on Supply Chain Development, Sales Operations, and R&D Innovation.
Establishing a Conversational and Generative AI Center of Excellence (COE): Initiate and lead the development of a dedicated COE focused on Conversational and Generative AI. This center will be instrumental in harnessing the potential of advanced AI technologies to enhance workflow experiences across Mars Inc. The role involves strategizing the COE's objectives, guiding its operational framework, and overseeing its integration into Mars' broader digital ecosystem. This will include identifying key AI applications, driving innovation in AI-based solutions, and ensuring these technologies are effectively deployed to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and elevate the overall efficiency of organizational operations.
