POSITION: FIRE MARSHAL OPEN BURNING OFFICIAL REPORTS TO: First Selectman GENERAL DUTIES: The Fire Marshal / Open Burning Official performs all duties of a local fire marshal within the jurisdiction of New Fairfield, Connecticut and ensures that the responsibilities of a local fire marshal are carried out as set forth in the statutes and regulations of the State of Connecticut and applicable local ordinances. HOURS OF WORK: Part time position. Weekly hours depending upon demand for service.
