BAE Systems F-35 Field Service Engineer in Nashua, New Hampshire
Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as an F-35 Field Service Engineer (FSE). The qualified candidate will provide technical support to Electronic Warfare (EW) development labs at BAE Systems Nashua/Manchester, New Hampshire facilities and on-site support to customer locations. The selected individual will be expected to have in-depth knowledge in Air Force maintenance methodologies that support war-fighter operations. Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
Key Job responsibilities include the following:
Become an Electronic Warfare (EW) expert on one of the most unique and complex Electronic Warfare platforms in the world
System troubleshooting and repair
BAE Systems primary POC for Field assistance request (FAR)
Interface with Software, Hardware, and Systems engineers to identify, report, and resolve field issues.
Provides onsite and offsite (reachback) technical support on F-35 EW Systems
Provides Technical support to Reliability engineering
Works with production engineering to troubleshoot and repair hardware.
Assist Engineering with System installation and testing of hardware and software upgrades
Perform off-aircraft component level troubleshooting
Provide Input and recommendations to Technical Documents.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Candidate may be required to travel to support on-site customer requests for troubleshooting, operational checks, upgrade support @ CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Strong understanding/Experience in Airborne EW Systems (LRU/LRM/SRU)
Understanding of DoD Aircraft MX procedures and operational environments
Fluent in Wiring diagrams (Aircraft, LRU, LRM, SRU), engineering documentation, requirements, EW theory
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and recommend solutions
Experience in supporting engineering labs through development and replicating field issues
Work independently to meet strict deadlines
Flexibility to travel as needed to support field sites with short notice (Approx 20-25%)
Active Secret eligible to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance, within a reasonable amount of time, determined by business need (US Citizenship required)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with F-35 EW systems and/or operations
Strong organizational and intermediate abilities in the following:
EW, RF and/or, Electronics
Electrical troubleshooting
Maintenance and fault isolation
Cable/Connector Repair
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
