thyssenkrupp Materials LLC Sr. Supply Chain Analyst in Kent, Washington

Duties: Lead operational capacity planning to meet forecasted demands, including requirements gathering and analyzing equipment utilization and labor plans; create demand forecasts, including leading reviews, analyzing demand trends across different plants and products to identify opportunities and risks, and continually improve forecast accuracy; create labor forecasts, including leading reviews and finalizing short and long term staffing plans; lead digital transformation initiatives, including developing and enhancing analytical dashboards and models to facilitate decision making processes across procurement, sales, and operations functions, and leading projects to create insight and improve supply chain performance; analyze and manage inventory forecasts for warehouse storage capacity and storage planning projects, and prepare ad-hoc scenarios for demand, labor, and inventory levels.

 

Requirements:  Master degree in Supply Chain Analytics/Management or Information Technology with focus or concentration in Supply Chain Analytics/Management and 3 years of experience in a supply chain analysis position in the aerospace industry. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Analytics/Management or Information Technology with focus or concentration in Supply Chain Analytics/Management and 5 years of experience in a supply chain analysis position in the aerospace industry. Must have 3 years of experience with each of the following: performing qualitative and quantitative data analysis and global supply chain modeling in the aerospace industry utilizing SQL, Excel, SAP, and Business Intelligence tools; creating aerospace industry supply chain data visualizations utilizing Tableau and Power BI, including developing and supporting self-service dashboards; coordinating the gathering, iteration, and prioritization of data analytics requests and business requirements from internal and external aerospace industry supply chains stakeholders; supporting aerospace industry operational capacity planning to meet forecasted demands, including developing equipment utilization and labor plans; developing data analytics processes and technical solutions utilizing SQL, Excel, SAP, and Business Intelligence tools to generate insight for demand, capacity inventory, and operations planning for aerospace industry supply chains, including stakeholder management, continuous improvement projects, and on-going support; building and maintaining internal and customer-facing reporting systems and dashboards for aerospace industry supply chain domains, including transforming data to information to meet business needs. Experience can be acquired concurrently.

 

Salary range: $80,000 to $114,000 per year.
