Robert Half Contracts Manager in Glastonbury, Connecticut

Description Contracts Managers with past experience in working directly under the general counsel drafting, managing and negotiating contracts, may be interested in this immediate-hire employment opportunity through Robert Half. In this role, the Contracts Manager will work on maintaining vendor and subcontracts agreements, drafting contracts, and managing and re-negotiating contracts when necessary. This long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity is based in the Manchester, Connecticut area.

Major responsibilities

  • Uphold and maintain contracts database

  • Manage and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

  • Analyze client contract terms to align with Company's risk tolerance, and red-line documents as required for compliance

  • Produce contractual provisions and administer contract proposals

  • Provide support in contract administration functions for the coordination and oversight of requirements for compliance with the contract terms and conditions, along with relaying information to internal departments

  • Look after internal and external requests on status of contracts

  • Oversee the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

  • Analyze and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)

  • Elaborate and manage contract repositories

  • Moderate and outsource contracts Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable

  • The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Comfortable with review and drafting of non-disclosure agreements; preferably, software evaluation and licensing agreements

  • Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) certification, or equivalent

  • Non-disclosure agreements experience

  • Command of Corporate Procurement

  • Proficiency in Supply Agreements

  • Capable of maintain high standards and professionalism in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
  • Very organized in order to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Accomplished in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Demeanor to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines

  • This positions is best suited for candidates with strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

  • Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers
