Job Description

The Business Owner, recognized as the North America expert for the Access Control product portfolio, determines the go-to-market strategy and ensures our products, solutions, and interfaces, are integrated and aligned with ecosystems and channels of our key customers. The Business Owner is focused on establishing foundational, future-forward, easy to use and deploy solutions and support services aligned with our customers at all levels.

  • Build and execute a unique business model for North America leveraging existing successes from other product lines in Intrusion Systems.

  • Partner with the North America marketing leader, create a business strategy including marketing communications, collateral, branding, events, and drive execution.

  • Analyze the access control market and take actions through products, tools, and solutions to drive growth and increase market share.

  • Partner with functional leaders, set up a multi-disciplinary support team including technical support, pre-sales and training.

  • Owns and prioritizes all business needs and requests for the North America market.

  • Responsible for product line turnover and integrated margin for North America.

  • Responsible for establishing relationships with Key Accounts and Direct Dealer customers.

  • Collaborate and act as a liaison for all business and deployment needs for access control partners.

  • Conduct competitive and market analyses for strategy improvement.

  • Calibrate requirements collectively to form foundational, sustainable solutions usable in all channels to market where possible.

  • Interfaces cross-functionally with Global Business owner, Product Management and Engineering teams, to develop use cases for a market-driven deployment roadmap.

  • Contribute to product and services development by anticipating market trends, end-user, and customer needs.

  • Support sales and business development with customer management/customer visits.

  • Provide input for business planning and regular review of forecasting for North America market.

  • Regularly travels throughout North America, and at times internationally, at or above 50% depending on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or similar.

  • 7+ years’ experience in Access Control product sales and/or marketing.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, preferably in a global business setting.

  • Strong verbal, written communication skills.

  • Experience and network connections in the security product industry is extremely desirable.

  • Marketing strategy development for security or other complex commercial electronic products preferred.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and results orientation is a must.

  • Ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working in a matrix organization requiring a high level of independence and informal leadership skills.

  • Comfortable negotiating between leaders on priorities.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $140,000, plus bonus. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
