Cartamundi Accounts Payable Representative- Hybrid in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts

The Accounts Payable Representative will be responsible for providing direct support for all activities necessary to facilitate the paying of vendors and other financial obligations.

What you’ll do as an Accounts Payable Representative:

  • Process and post incoming invoices including uploading into SAP and checking for accuracy.

  • Secure appropriate approvals per company’s directive.

  • Preparation of check and ACH payment runs.

  • Respond to internal customer and external vendor inquiries; resolve issues in a timely fashion.

  • Support the Travel and Expense reimbursement process and assist with account reconciliations.

  • Analyze stale date checks and vendor statements as needed.

  • Prepare monthly accruals.

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Representative with:

  • Associate degree, or higher, in Accounting or Finance.

  • 1-3 years of experience with accounts payable processing.

  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable policies, procedures and internal controls.

  • Experience with accounts payable processing in an SAP environment a plus.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

  • Proficient with MS Office, including experience with Excel.

  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.

  • Exceptional customer service mindset and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing team environment.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a proactive manner.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of the various aspects of A/P, and how it relates to the company’s operational and financial processes.

Physical requirements and working conditions:

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

  • Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues

  • Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead

  • Perform sedentary work on various computer systems

  • This Accounts Payable Representative position is located on-site in our East Longmeadow facility
