Job Description:

Welcome to Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. Beverly Hospital is a full service, community hospital providing leading-edge, patient-centered care to North Shore and Cape Ann residents.

J6 is a 37-bed medical unit. Patients are admitted from a number of services including internal medicine, medical oncology, hospice, infectious disease, behavioral health and renal. Common medical diagnoses include cancer, cerebral vascular accident, delirium, dementia, failure to thrive, pancreatitis, and substance use disorders.

The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are working. The average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency program. Preceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientation. The clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyond.

Qualifications:

BSN preferred

• Must have completed all clinical rotations and be eligible to take the nurse registration

• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Certificate
