CACI is seeking a Program Control Analyst to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to serve as program analyst and advisor to government leadership on the evaluation of policies, programs, and operations to effectively provide programmatic financial support for a complex multi-appropriation program.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Develop, coordinate, and track funding and budget activities.

  • Manage overall project financials to include forecasting, budget analysis, and invoice tracking.

  • Provide financial execution and support of program related work including Funding Requests, De-obligation Requests, Realignment Requests, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs)

  • Prepare project financial documents and status reports.

  • Increase organizational efficiency through the evaluation of existing financial procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to financial management.

  • Analyze and evaluate client needs to develop analytical dashboards and statistical reports based on programmatic specifications.

  • Provide technical budget support by serving as a source of budgetary information for various appropriated and reimbursable accounts.

  • Provide up-to-date budgetary information through maintenance of an MS Excel Financial workbook and update various files on MS Teams and/or Share Point.

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of established guidelines and procedures in suggesting alternative means of obtaining and using available funds.

  • Provide support to the government with appropriate accounting classification and appropriations to be charged by object class, fiscal year, and element of resource.

More About The Role:

  • Serves as program analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of policies, programs, and operations to effectively provide programmatic financial support

  • Perform routine and non-routine project financial reporting including, but not limited to: 75% Funding Notifications, Estimates to Complete, Estimates at Completion, Forecast and Budget Reports, Invoice Backup Reports, and various other client-specific reports.

  • Analyze plans, forecasts, actual costs, variances and communicate trends to the program, line, and financial management.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance.

  • BA/BS and 3 years’ experience (OR) Associates degree and 7 years’ experience (OR) High School and 9 years of experience.

  • Experience supporting financial analysis requirements on USG/DoD contracts.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and quickly respond to new priorities and requirements.

  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Possess effective wide-ranging analytical skills, abilities, and subject-matter knowledge that supports all aspects of financial management.

  • Provides input for the development of annual budget submission and engages with client to provide recommendations for funding allocations.

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of established guidelines and procedures to maximize the utilization of available funds.

  • Familiarity with reading contract funding mods and MIPR lines of accounting.

  • Thorough knowledge of federal funding regulations and appropriation types.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Financial Operations supporting the government on Army or Navy Programs.

  • Experience with FEDSIM contracts.

  • Expert experience with the full suite of Microsoft Office tools.

  • DoD Project Management experience.

  • Experience with Defense Travel System.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
